Using Essential Oil for Pain

essential-oils-pain-combo

Last year, my sister gave me one of the greatest gifts… a starter kit with essential oils. I used to think it was weird and probably had little affect. I am here to tell you that essential oils are amazing, especially if used in the right combination.

For my friends experiencing chronic pain, I have found a lot of relief with a very simple combination.

Mara’s Pain Relieving Combo

  • 50 mL of a carrier oil (like grapeseed, sunflower or coconut)
  • 7 drops of peppermint oil
  • 5 drops of rosemary oil
  • 3 drops of lavender oil

Combine and massage topically into the effected area. It typically takes the edge off and can last between 1 to 3 hours.

Leave a comment below if you have found any other helpful pain combinations.

Take care!

    • Great questions. I’m sorry for not being more clear. You can buy it at a natural health store (probably not GNC), or online . My favorite is PlantTherapy.com, but NOW is a good brand too. You can make it in a bowl, small spray bottle or anything like that. You’ll be using your hands to rub it in anyway, so the container doesn’t matter. It should keep if sealed properly in a dark bottle. Yes, I mix it as needed. 🙂 I hope this helps.
